Dear Janaka

I went though your WEB page. It is very nice. But there are so many fields to touch-up, develop & expand. When you say Kids & computers you have forgotten the Little ones. I mean the (Monte Very sorrys) Montessori Kids. We are lacking Local programmes in Sinhala and English. And you have not mentioned about Sinhala anywhere in your page. Because the name is LakaAruna witn no luck for Sinhla. People are trying to make money for Sinhala Software all around but nobody try to bring a correct Sinhala Type setting Sofware or There no Standard in sinhala software. Every body is trying to make a quick buck at the end of the the. But utilizing Phonetic and Lunatic stuff. Not a single sofware in the market is capable to do a perfect document. Most of the Function are not working and even the letters too are not even that you could type correctly. Please try to improve the The Lak-meyruna-Sinhala ( I mean Dead lock). Onemore thing is there is not Sinhala page in in your Web page. So “Kadu nethi ayata LakArunata pivisa veemata Aithiyak nedda? When you say Remote. Atha dunnata Athey kadu wak dunnothe thamai Hoda. Eya ape sinhala bvitha karana ayata rukulak wei neda? Punchin Malli la Nangila genath balanna.

One more thing that you have to Ad in your Web site is the Arts and Craft.

About teaching English to students,

I'm a great supporter of computer based training. The reason is that we should get students to think and speak in English before read and write in English. That way we can get them to learn the language faster. I think you agree that we hardly got anything out of the English education we had at the school. The reason was that our teachers emphasis were on reading and writing English, not speaking or thinking in English. For example, when we learned our language Sinhala first, we started speak and think in Sinhala before we learned how to read or write Sinhala. I'm not sure whether you agree with me or not on that. There is a computer based English language training program that is being used in many colleges and universities. Have a look at this site www.rosetaston.co.uk Let me know whether this is something you would like your students to have.

Dear Mr. Janaka,
Very well done.!!!!!!! Good work keeep it up. .Mostly when people get good education they are running away from their village and living in cities or going abroad. You have set a good example for our nation.
I'm from Balangoda. Studied at Udagama M.V. and university of Kelaniya. After that I worked for St. Thomas college colombo as a teacher for nine months and got an oppertunity to come to Qatar. Now I'm working as a teacher, here in Qatar. This was taken due to finacial dificulties I faced in Sri Lanka. Very near future I'll be back and will settle down in my village to do my responsibilities to my future genaration.
I wish you all the best!
Regards,
Janaka
